WELCOME!
The lyric line you see above is the first
line of the song Keepers of the Faith
written for the First United Methodist
church of Kerrville by Joseph Martin.
The butterfly repersents transforma- tion and in particular the resurrection-- the caterpillar as Christ's life on earth, the chrysallis represents the three days of death, then the resurrection as the butterfly. By extension it means the transformation that accepting Christ can have for one's own life and the promise of life after death

In Memory of Marilyn Monts

This July is our first update of our website since the sudden death of our faithful webmaster, Marilyn Monts. Marilyn developed this website specific to our Music Ministry to be used for newsletters, messages and general information. She kept it updated daily for over five years.

Marilyn had been bed ridden for many, many years. She lived in Washington State and although we never met in person, her spirit, committment and love for our Music Ministry meant so much to all of us......and to her.

Please pray for her family, including her sister Cathy Learoyd. And please continue to use the website and think of Marilyn each time as you view her pretty butterflies and are grateful for the generous sharing of her considerable talent.
